Talkeetna Hideaway Hotel

Clean rooms and great communal kitchen, but noisy guests disrupted the evening quiet hours.

my queen room was beautiful, had an exceptionally comfortable bed. location: the hotel was very close to talkeetna town center and many outdoor activities and train station. i tried some drinks at brew pub denali brewpub, located 25 minutes walk away.

Truly enjoyed our cozy rooms in this place.

We had a large bedroom.

The common areas were consistently clean and well-equipped, enhancing the home-like atmosphere. Meeting fellow travelers was a bonus, as several were preparing for Denali expeditions, which made conversations fascinating.

The serene, wooded location just over a mile from town provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Check-in was seamless, and I appreciated having a clean and well-equipped shared kitchen. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The shared bathroom could benefit from more frequent maintenance to improve hygiene, and there were occasional noise disturbances from other guests.

This guesthouse is a gem! The kitchen was super clean and fully stocked with coffee, tea, and delicious snacks. Loved the cozy communal spaces and my private room wasvery comfy and tidy. Plus, the location is serene.

The communal kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for meals, and the nearby restaurants were just a short walk away. The kids loved the outdoor space, perfect for them to play.

In my wife's opinion, an extra play area for the kids would be great.

Everything about Talkeetna Hideaway was pretty good! The cleanliness of the environment was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the well-equipped kitchen was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the owner's helpfulness and the quiet atmosphere. The WiFi was great, and the snacks provided were quite delicious too!

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cleanliness of the whole place and the well-equipped kitchen. The location was peaceful and provided a nice break from the hustle of downtown Talkeetna, yet it was still just a short walk to everything. A lovely touch was the warm welcome text that included all the important info. The shared bathroom could use some improvement in terms of odor.
